CLAHS Privacy Policy

The County Louth Archaeological and Historical Society (CLAHS) collects names, postal addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers from its members.

This information is used by CLAHS solely to conduct the normal business of CLAHS, including the distribution of the annual journal, informing members of upcoming events, and circulating membership renewal information.

If a member requests access to the JSTOR digital library (www.jstor.org), the member’s name and email address will be shared with JSTOR by CLAHS for the sole purpose of providing access to the JSTOR library for that member. No information is shared with JSTOR unless a member requests such access.

With the exception of JSTOR, members’ data is not shared with any other third parties.

This information is maintained and stored securely by CLAHS for active members and for up to three years after membership has lapsed.

A member’s information may be inspected or corrected upon request. A member’s information may be deleted upon request should membership be terminated.

CLAHS is committed to ensuring the security of your information and to reporting any data breach to the Data Protection Commission. This policy will be periodically reviewed by the CLAHS Council and any changes to the policy will be communicated to members.

Any queries concerning the privacy policy may be directed to the Hon. Secretary or the Hon. Treasurer.
