This video by Don Johnston takes the viewer along the old Newry Road, just north of the Ballymascanlan roundabout. The Macneill family were very influential in the area and a flaxmill and several limekilns are included. Other local families intermarried with the Macneills. Parts of the earlier Dundalk-Newry (1766 and 1777) roads also feature.
