The Society’s Summer Excursion by coach will visit Co Kildare on Friday 19 June 2026. Visits will include

• Johnstown Garden Cenre
• Athy: The Shackleton Experience
• Castletown House
• Dunboyne Castle

The coach departs from the Homebase carpark in the Drogheda Retail Park (A92 V189) at 9.15 a.m. and from the Gateway Hotel (formerly the Crowne Plaza Hotel) in Dundalk at 8.30 a.m.

The day will also include

• Tea/Coffee/Scones – Johnstown, (10% off).
• Lunch – Athy (Packed or Purchase).
• Evening Meal – Drawing Room – Dunboyne Castle.

The cost is €90 per person which includes Coach, Evening Meal, Castletown House, Shackleton Experience, gratuities, but not lunch or coffee stop.
