The Society’s Summer Excursion by coach will visit Waterford’s Viking Triangle on Saturday 22 June 2024. Visits will include

• Guided Tour & Medieval Museum
• Museum of Time (Clocks)
• Christ Church Cathedral
• Bishop’s Palace

The coach departs from the Gateway Hotel (formerly the Crowne Plaza Hotel) in Dundalk at 8.30 a.m. and from the Homebase carpark in the Drogheda Retail Park (A92 V189) at 9.00 a.m.

The day will also include

• Tea/Coffee/Scones at the Johnstown Garden Centre, near Naas.
• Light Lunch (take a pack or purchase!) Bishop’s Palace, Waterford.
• Evening Meal – Lord Bagenal Inn, Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow.

The cost is €80 per person which includes the coach, morning coffee stop, evening meal, museums and Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and gratuities, but not lunch.
