CARSTOWN HOUSE: AN ARCHAEOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT

ACSU Senior Archaeologist & Project Manager Mr Jon Stirland will present an archaeological assessment of Carstown House in Co Louth.  The presentation will include the results of an appraisal and measured high-density 3D scan of Carstown which were carried out by ACSU following the 2017 building fire at Carstown and will show video of the interactive model of the building generated from the 3D scan.

The lecture will be held on Wednesday 27 February 2019 at 8.00pm in the Drumshallon Forge Heritage Centre, which can be located on Google maps here. The EirCode is A92 DF7X.

The lecture is open to all. Voluntary donations at the door are welcome to support the work of the Society.
