The Society’s Summer Excursion by coach will visit the city of Derry on Friday 13 June 2025. Visits will include

• St Columb’s Cathedral
• Guildhall
• Guildhall Square (Visited by President Bill Clinton in 1995)
• Derry City Walls

The coach departs from the Homebase carpark in the Drogheda Retail Park (A92 V189) at 8.30 a.m. and from the Gateway Hotel (formerly the Crowne Plaza Hotel) in Dundalk at 9.00 a.m.

The day will also include

• Tea/Coffee/Scones – Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.
• Lunch time – take a pack or purchase.
• Evening Meal – Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan.

The cost is €85 per person which includes Coach, Morning Coffee stop, Evening Meal, Cathedral, Guildhall and gratuities, but not lunch.
