The Society’s Summer Excursion by coach will visit Johnstown Castle in Co Wexford on Saturday 17 June 2023.
The coach departs from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dundalk at 8.30 a.m. and from the Homebase carpark in Drogheda (A92 V189) at 9.00 a.m.
The coach arrives at Johnstown at 12-12.30 p.m. after a stop for scones en route at Killashee House, Co Kildare.
The visit includes a guided tour of the castle, a visit to the Agricultural Museum in the grounds and allows time to enjoy the extensive gardens and to visit the Peacock Cafe and Shop.
The coach will depart Johnstown at 5.00 p.m. The return journey will include an evening meal in the Woodenbridge Hotel in the Vale of Avoca in Co Wicklow. The coach will arrive back to Drogheda at 9.00 p.m. and Dundalk at 9.30 p.m.
The cost of €75 includes the coach, guided tour, scones and evening meal.
